KS26-239T Addition and Renovation at Elizabeth Simcoe Jr PS
 

The Successful bidder upon award must submit Labour and Material Bonds and Performance Bonds using Form 31 (Labour and Material Bond) and Form 32 (Performance Bond) include HST to the Purchasing Department to the attention of the Contract Specialist,  if Bid submission exceeds $500K.

Effective immediately all awarded contractors/vendors will be required to submit Digital Bid Bond, Performance and Labour and Material Bonds. TDSB will ONLY accept Digital Bonds.

The Contractor shall start the project as soon as possible when the contract is awarded.  The successful Contractor shall submit a project schedule to the Board immediately upon award of the Contract.  This project shall be substantially completed by: November 2027

Hours of Work: The project involves construction and renovation work at the existing school and childcare facility. Both facilities will remain operational during most of the construction period, with specific phasing and temporary arrangements to ensure safety, accessibility, and continuity of operations. Any work directly effecting school operation shall be carried out after hours or on the weekend in accordance with the city by-law

Operational Hours
• Childcare: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (Year-round)
• School: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday (Sept-June) (Closed PA days, March Break, Christmas Break, Summer)
• Before & After School Care: 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. (Year-round)
