The Toronto District School Board intends to secure a Contract with a qualified Bidder for the Supply of Fine Copy Paper to the Distribution Centre for the period and in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below:

The successful bidder will be required to enter into a contract which will be effective for a Three (3) year period from June 1, 2019 to May 31, 2022. 

The Board reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the Board, to exercise an option to extend for Two (2) additional One (1) year periods at pricing agreed to by both parties. The successful Bid(s) will require approval by the Board of Trustees prior to contract award.  The terms and conditions of the extension option would remain the same as for the initial contract period

Prices are requested firm for a Six (6) month period from June 1, 2019 to November 30, 2019.  If Bidder cannot quote firm prices Bidder must state clearly in his submission the basis on which prices are submitted.

The contract pricing resulting from this tender will be firm for the period specified above.  Following the firm pricing period, any request for price adjustment for the next six month period, will be considered.  Requests must be submitted to the Board at least 30 days prior to the effective date.  Requests for price adjustment must include documentation supporting the request and demonstrating a logical mathematical link between the current price and the proposed price.  Any adjustment or amendment to the contract will not be effective unless approved by the Board. The Board will be given the immediate benefit of any decrease in the market, or allowable discount.
