The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) intends to procure the services of an experienced architectural firm to provide complete architectural design and Sub-consultant coordination services including Structural, Mechanical and Electrical for a 184 pupil place addition along with 4 child care rooms- to augment an existing single room - (1 infant, 2 toddler and 1 preschool), at Hollywood PS, at 30 Hollywood Ave. Toronto, ON M2N 3L4. This project is intended to address school & community pressures in North York. 

The site is 6.7 acres in area on a rectangular lot in a low-rise residential neighborhood and is situated north and west of the intersection of Sheppard Avenue East and Bayview Avenue. The original primary school was constructed in 1949, with a net area of 31,270 square feet. 

The scope of work shall include related building addition construction, interior renovations – including the possible expansion of the gymnasium. The project scope will also address related building system & service improvements; landscape developments and Municipal or other utility system upgrades as required to accommodate the new facility and school program(s). 

Each proponent is required to assemble a group of experienced school design sub-consultants to provide the full spectrum of required professional services to successfully complete the project as presented in this document.
