KS24-310PQ Request for a Prequalification of Bidders for Professional Service Providers onn Building Envelope Projects The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is soliciting submissions from architectural and engineering firms to provide professional services on an “as needed” basis for facility renewal projects. The intent is to select a number of firms to provide services on a project by project basis. TDSB reserves the right, at its discretion, to negotiate fees for each project with any and all successful proponents. Firms interested in submitting a proposal shall be qualified to provide professional building envelope Professional Service providers services in accordance with the guidelines published by the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) or the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA). In addition to the above, interested firms should have a thorough working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and related standards including ANSI/ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2010 and the National Energy Code of Canada for Buildings. Emphasis will be given to firms that can clearly demonstrate an ability to act as the prime consultant on multi disciplinary building envelope projects including but not limited to roof replacement projects.
Responses are requested only from firms that have the capacity to perform work on tight timelines and feel that this type of professional service is within their area of expertise and is suitable to their type of practice. The Board will not conduct business with any supplier currently engaged in litigation against the Board.
Term of contract will be a (3) three year term with options to extend for three (3) additional twelve month extension options. There may be an annual refresh at the discretion of the TDSB.
