The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is soliciting submissions from Architectural firms to provide
professional services on an “as needed” basis, for facility projects with a construction budget of up to $1,725,000 each. The intent is to select a number of firms to provide services on a project by project basis. The Board reserves
the right, at its discretion, to negotiate fees for each project with any and all successful proponents.

Category One - Project with a total construction cost up to $750,000

Category Two - Project with a total construction cost in excess of $750,000 but less than $1,725,000

A contract which will be in effect for a three (3) year firm period. The Board reserves the right,
at the sole discretion of the Board, to exercise an option to renew the contract for up to one additional twelve (12) month period, provided that prior written notice within sixty (60) days of the expiry date is given to the Vendor
by the Board. The terms and conditions of the extension options would remain the same as for the initial contract period.

Firms interested in submitting a proposal shall be qualified to provide professional architectural services in
accordance with the RAIC Document Six (2017) and TDSB Supplementary Conditions to RAIC Document 6 - 2017 Edition, Minor Projects (Appendix B), have a thorough working knowledge of school design, the Ontario Building Code, related Standards and local regulations.
