JJ21-295P Custodial & Janitorial Services at 4 Toronto Lands Corporation Sites

The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC) is soliciting submissions for Custodial and Operational Services (4) four sites.  

Term: Successful Bidders will be required to enter into a contract with firm pricing which will be effective for a two(2) year period from the date the contract is signed.  The TLC reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the TLC, to exercise an option to extend for three (3) additional one (1) year periods. The successful Bid(s) will require approval by the TLC  Board prior to contract award.  The terms and conditions of the extension option(s) would remain the same as the initial contract, and at the sole discretion of TLC, there may be an opportunity to review the fee for an option period.

TLC will not conduct business with any supplier currently engaged in litigation against the TLC or the Toronto District School Board.

“Board” means the Toronto District School Board.

• Best Practices and quality control procedures                                              20 Points
• Relevant Management Experience                                                                 20 Points

Fee Proposal 50 points

• Monthly Cleaning Fees                                                                                      25 Points
• Monthly Fee-Daily Safety Checks                                                                    25 Points
• Fees will be reviewed and evaluated in context with  skills, service, experience provisions.

Scoring evaluation matrix:

• Excellent: 15 - 20 Exceeds the required standard. Response answers the question with precision and relevance and includes improvement thru innovation/added value
• Good:10-14 Meets the standard required. Comprehensive responsein terms of detail and relevance to the question
• Limited: 5 - 9 Fails the standard in most aspects but meets some areas in level of detail. Generally inadequate and only partially addresses the question
• Inadequate: 0 - 4 Significantly fails to meet the standard. Question not answered or answer is not relevant to the question
