Project Introduction This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the pre-qualification of artificial turf, artificial turf suppliers and artificial turf installers for various Toronto District School Board properties. The work will include, but is not limited to, the supply of all products, labour, equipment and materials to install artificial turf systems. The fields will range in size from approximately 4,000sq.m. to 10,000sq.m. The successful proponents will be required to work as a subcontractor to various General Contractors. The Toronto District School Board is seeking Proposals from Contractors (the Proponent) who are interested and capable of undertaking this project. The Proponent must demonstrate their knowledge, understanding and capacity to conduct the work outlined in this Request for Proposal. The Proposals will be assessed according to how well they assure the TDSB of success in relation to the submission requirements. The detail and clarity of the written Proposal will be considered indicative of the Proponent’s expertise and competence. Interested Proponents are expected to review the requirements of this RFP and the proposed project carefully in order to ascertain all costs for resources and services required to deliver the proposed project. Term of contract Two (2) Years firm pricing with an option to extend for Three (3) additional Twelve (12) Month extension periods, total of Five (5) years. It is at the sole discretion of TDSB to award the contract to multiple vendor(s) based on our needs and requirements.
