The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) is soliciting submissions from Mechanical and Electrical (Firms) to provide professional services on an “as needed” basis, for Minor Projects (CAT 2) with a construction values between $750,000 to $2,000,000 each. The intent is to select a number of firms to provide services on a project by project basis. Successful firms will be requested to accept a contract which will be in effect for a three (3) year firm period. TDSB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exercise an option of extending the contract for up to two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods. Firms can bid on either Mechanical - Category 1, Electrical - Category 2 or BOTH Mechanical and Electrical - Category 3 for Minor Projects Each Category will be evaluated individually each category out of 100 points/percent. The proposals will be scored in accordance with the following criteria: 1. Company Profile - 10 points 2. Approach and Methodology - 20 points 3. Ability to meet schedule - 5 points 4. Project Experience - 25 points 5. Sample Technical Documents - 10 points 6. Fee Schedule - % of construction cost - 20 points 6.
