Description: |
The Toronto Lands Corporation (TLC), a wholly owned subsidiary and exclusive real estate and land use services provider to the Toronto District School Board (TDSB). TDSB is the largest school board in Canada with a land inventory of approximately 5,000 acres of land within every City community. The intent of this Request for Proposal is to select a qualified professional firm to support the TLC as it advances its modernization strategy and assesses the opportunities around unlocking value from TDSB’s portfolio of public real estate assets and reinvesting that value to support the TDSB’s multiyear plan and more specifically TDSB’s aging facilities. Coordination and maneuverability within government and City governing policies will be a required knowledge as TLC undertakes its due diligence, seeks school board approvals and builds community confidence to achieve successful outcomes. In the sample contract provided please note that in the final contract "the Board" will be changed to "the Toronto Lands Corporation (the 'TLC'), a wholly owned subsidiary of the TDSB". |
