The Toronto District School Board intends to secure contracts with a qualified Bidders for the Supply of Locks and Hardware related Products for the trades staff. The Supply of Locks and Hardware and related products for TDSB shall be in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined below. Term: Successful Bidders will be required to enter into a contract with firm pricing which will be effective for a Two (2) year period. The Board reserves the right, at the sole discretion of the Board, to exercise an option to extend for Three (3) additional One (1) year periods. The successful Bid(s) will require approval by the Board of Trustees prior to contract award. The terms and conditions of the extension option would remain the same as for the initial contract period. The desired supplier will have distribution location/s in the geographic areas covered by the learning centres 1 , 2, 3 4 . The boundaries for the East would be Port Union Road to Bathurst Street and Lakeshore Blvd. to Steeles Avenue and the boundaries for the West would be Hwy 427 to Bayview Avenue from Lakeshore Blvd to Steeles Avenue. Proposal Evaluation Criteria The proposals will be scored in accordance with the criteria listed below. Price (35) pointsCompany History and Experience (10) points Past Performance with the TDSB and other school boards (10) points Service and Support Capabilities (15) points Early Payment Discount/prompt payment Discount (5) points Discount for non-contracted Items (5) Points Number of locations available for product pick-up per learning centre area (Refer to the Learning Centre Maps/Documents) Learning Centre 1 (5) points Learning Centre 2 (5) points Learning Centre 3 (5) points Learning Centre 4 (5) Points Total Points 100 points EVALUATION MATRIX: Excellent: 15-20 Exceeds the required standard. Response answers the question with precision and relevance and includes improvement through innovation/value added. Good: 10–14 Meets the standard required. Comprehensive response in terms of detail and relevance to the question. Limited: 5–9 Fails the standard in most aspects but meets some areas in level of detail. Generally inadequate and only partially addresses the question. Inadequate: 0–4 Significantly fails to meet the standard. question not answered or answer is not relevant to the question.
