The Toronto Lands Corporation as agent of the Toronto District School Board, herein referred to as the TLC and TDSB, invites proposals for the pre-qualification of Real Estate Brokerage Firms (Proponents), for the purpose
of providing professional real estate services for projects on TDSB sites or where TDSB has a potential interest in acquiring, disposing and/or leasing a property.  Recently, TDSB expanded TLC’s mandate to include all Board-wide real-estate, surplus and operating schools, land use planning, asset management and leasing, fostering partnerships, integrating community hubs/services through the redevelopment of school sites or the
modernization of schools.  The TLC intends to prequalify a few firms (3-4) to be selected, as required, for
various Real Estate assignments over the next two (2) years to provide a variety of real estate related services on these projects.

 It is expected that the Successful Bidder(s) will co-operate with third parties including a variety of professional consultants.  Any reports or documentation may be subject to a Freedom of Information inquiry.

The Successful Bidder(s) will be required to enter into a contract which will be in effect for a two (2) year period with an option to extend 1 (one) additional year.

A proponent may submit a proposal for either Real Estate Brokerage services for:

 Section A:    Real estate services or

Section B:  Leasing services

  or both (Real Estate & Leasing).
